Swine Flu Pandemic!

On 11th June 2009 The World Health Organization (WHO) declared a global Swine Flu pandemic; the first flu pandemic in 40 years - the last was in 1968 when Hong Kong flu killed about one million people!

Swine Flu is an influenza virus that is spread in a similar manner to common seasonal flu. People suffering from Swine Flu typically cough and sneeze, expelling infectious droplets into the air; some of which settle on surfaces while others become airborne.

SafeAir equipment delivers Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) technology which is a highly effective means of inactivating and removing pathogens by damaging the DNA of viruses, bacteria and fungi and therefore neutralising them so that they are no longer able to reproduce.

SafeAir equipment can be easily and conveniently installed within any domestic or commercial building as it is designed to plug directly into a standard mains power outlet and consumes minimal power.

By disinfecting the air using a SafeAir system, the risk of contracting Swine Flu or other ailments due to infection from infectious airborne microorganisms can be drastically reduced.
